For me, Principles are a trap. Even you have said that no one hasn’t broken at least one of the 10 commandmenst. Of the billions of christians who have ever lived (perhaps excluding JC!) no one has ever been able to follow the basic 10 rules handed down thru from the Jews. So, makes one think that perhaps these are actually Guiding Rules to follow tht will get you thru most all situations in life. Then there is the 1-5% of the time that you have to make another choice. Sometimes a truely harmless lie can spare someone great needless pain. So you hold the truth inside of you and You take the pain of the lie. If shooting that crazy idiot who shot 20 kids would have spared those children then clearly killing can be the best choice. Think about the wars in the old testament when god clearly helped in the killing. Principles are not universal. In this case, I am using our dialogue (which I respect and cherish) to explain my personal philosphy. It was a common method in Ancent Greece to write in Dialogues. That is all that Plato/Socrates did. Our conversations look like and sound like a dialogue written by Plato, only with modern language and references. I am a philosopher. I have a degree in it. What you hear from me in our conversations is My Philosophy. I am heavily influenced by Plato/Socrates and I philosophize in a Dialogue form. I am publishing my philosophy and you help me to think in a special way. You are very helpful to me! I like the way I think when we talk! And we are so good at it.:-) If you pay attention to us talking to each other then you will see how wonderful and open our conversations are. We are a great example to others! Look how we handle/communicate our “conflct/missunderstanding” about me not showing you appreciation and attention in the right way. That is brilliant! It is so good it almost seems fake!! When I read it, it seems so contrived! But is was spontaneous between the two of us! Very Cool! there is nothing wrong with sharing us as an example of how people can communicate!

I want to write about The Now. If the past comes up then that is natural and expected. I didn’t know where to start, I study and think about so much it is insane! I didn’t feel inspired to actually get off my ass and figure out how to do it. I don’t like learning new stuff on the computer. The emotional manipulation and guilt-inducing messages of some churches are ridiculous. Some institutionalized churches prey upon people when they are at their lowest points in life. Its reprehensible. Its the total opposite of Jesus’ teachings. It’s my belief based on examples in scripture that church was never meant to be institutionalized with professional full-time pastors. It was meant rather, to be an organic gathering of believers who used their natural abilities to assist one another with life’s hardships.
Individuals will do lots of strange things to alleviate their own personal guilt. The sad thing is that most guilt is based upon principles or guidelines or a perceived standard one feels they have to live up to. As you said earlier, remove that standard of behavior and the guilt disappears. Life is hard enough without people and institutions preying upon each other and being totally self-serving.

It isn’t the behavior that I mean by simple problem. Yes, 3 years is an issue as to that! I am talking about what is behind the behavior! That might not be too complex or deep. Some people need just a little nudge. I can do this by convincing them of 1, or maybe a few; fact(s). When they accept these facts then the subconscious mind will begin to process their reality differently. It is amazing the turn around that Some people can have with this method. In December I just pointed out to a girl that she was having certain behavior (getting worked up over stuff). I then explained that it doesn’t do her any good–gave her some direct examples as to why (things she said early in our conversation). I explained that there was no need or benefit from her doing this. She agreed to all of that. I then told her how to react when she starts to feel herself thinking on the way to getting worked up. She said “yes, I try to Push those away”. So I go on, don’t push them away, that gives them energy. Like if you were leaning against a wall, if I take the wall away then what would happen. “I’d fall over”. Yes, that is the energy you are putting into these negative/useless/damaging thoughts. Don’t give it that energy. Just notice that you are thinking that way. After you learn how to catch yourself thinking like that, you will realize how funny it is that you think that way. It is funny because it is completely useless. As you get better at spotting these thoughts, you will learn to see the thought coming before you even have the thought. At which point you can choose to either have the thought or not. If you keep rejecting to have the thought, then your mind will start de-emphasing that thought pattern. Or you could just stop thinking that way from now on because you know that it is useless to think that way and it is a silly idea to even bother thinking like that. I talked with her a week later and she hadn’t worked herself up in the week since she left my office. It is now over a month later. Going well! She isn’t cured but if her partner knew how to do what I did then she would slowly eliminate that behavior from her “personality”. It isn’t her personality but most people would identify it as such. He personality is sweet and hospitable. The behavior just makes it hard for her to enjoy the results of her efforts and hospitality.

Psychiatrist are pill pushing idiots. They are medical doctors for the brain. Psychologists/therapists dig into the brain. My guy is very sharp but he knows that I am smarter and better than he is at it. That girl was only the latest example. not the only. therapists make the mistake of believing that you have to lead the patient down a path so that The Patient themselves figures out what the problem is. fuck that! I can see the problem (if I know/suspect that there is a problem) in half a second to five minutes. Then I go about fixing it. I use everything from subliminally techniques to flat out stating it like in the example above. Some take lots of slow tweeking over a long period of time. Depends on the individual and my relationship with them. People need help! If you know what the solution is then get that info inside of them!!

You didn’t learn while you were a kid the basic rules of how to treat females.
